When I hiked the Fundy footpath at the end of July, my companions pointed out a snake that had recently eaten. It was the first time I had seen a snake full.
I have been working on a larger writing project that will be completed soon. Then I will get back to blogging. Cheers from Maritime Mac.

I know, he was well full. Thanks for having a look. I will make sure to stop by yours too. I haven’t been writing much as I am busy writing something else but I am still checking out as many other blogs as i can daily .

I just couldn’t go back and take a closer look {shudder}. If I’m lucky, I’ll never see one for myself 😉

I understand. I don’t like them either but he was pretty vulnerable at that moment. I felt pretty safe. Have a great Sunday Joanne.

There is a snake trap made by people who raise chickens that involves two eggs in box. The eggs are separated by chicken wire. The snake eats the first egg and has to crawl through the wire to eat the second. The lumps caused by the eggs keep it held in the wire.

that sounds kind of mean. What trap a snake?

Because they eat the eggs and kill chickens when they get into the wrong spot. A black snake is generally allowed to live in the barn but not necessarily with the livestock.

Nice shot, getting to see a full snake in the wild can be difficult.

First time for me too. I’ve seen a snack chase a frog but quickly left so I would not see what happens. Cool shot!
