Six cyclists from the Outdoor Enthusiasts Fredericton Club biked around Sussex, New Brunswick, Saturday July 14th. We visited six covered bridges along 60 kilometers of beautiful countryside. Then on Sunday, I went Tubing with seven co- workers on the Nashwaak river. If you would like to know more about each of these areas; Here are some previous posts to read.

Well you will have to come to NB and see them, We have 58 of them. In my post You Travel alone. I have a video of me driving through the longest one in the world. Heart Land Covered Bridge it is a special experience

It’s very sad that they are not willing to make repairs to the covered bridges and they are being torn down at an alarming rate. For a province looking to bring in more tourism, it isn’t very helpful to be tearing down something people like to visit.

I attended college in Vermont and loved the ones I saw there. Great cycling and tubing, sounds like a fun weekend! Never made it to Montreal or points north or east though.
