I had a wonderful three weeks in Costa Rica. Two days after getting home I put my home for sale. It sold in thirty hours.
Moving is a big job after 11 years living in New Brunswick, I’m returning to Nova Scotia. The packing, sorting, disconnecting this and that, so much to do!. Once I’m settled in my place in Cape Breton I’ll be back with more stories.
Best regards Maritimemac

Good luck on your new adventure!

30 hours? That’s fantastic! When I saw the title of your post, I thought you were moving to Costa Rica. It’s a popular destination for expats.

Ha ha. My coworkers though that too.
No, my work wouldn’t accommodate my shoulder limitations and terminated my employment. I had to act quickly to catch the posting season here at CFB Gagetown military base.
I’ll take the time my shoulder needs and when, I feel I’m capable, I’ll find another line of work.

Wishing you success in moving into a new home in Nova Scotia. I took my Basic training out there at Canadian Forces Recruit School in 1973. A long time back in time. I love your stories on this blog you created. Good luck and see when and after getting settled in.

It’s been good. Has a fair bit of repairs to do. My tenants never Said anything was wrong but has to redo bathroom. Kitchen cabinets, driveway resurfaced, both decks, paint everywhere. Paint foundation, all faucet, lawnmower every hedge shrub and tree over grown, lots of trimming. Loads of discarded junk to take to dump.new oil tank ugg list is long.I’ve been working very hard to bring it back. Just one bedroom and living room to paint. Some basement stuff to do but it can wait. Here is hoping 2025 brings you happiness, good health and good luck. Cheers
